Preventive health check

Under the preventive health check insurance coverage, we reimburse the costs of analyses, examinations and examination packages carried out at the insured person’s request. Examples of reimbursable services include Dermtest, mole examinations, sports medicine examinations and exercise stress tests. A doctor’s referral is not required for reimbursement under the preventive health check insurance coverage.

In addition, we reimburse the costs of issuing or renewing a prescription, consultations with an optometrist or ophthalmologist related to the issuance of an eyeglass prescription, and the issuance of a paid medical certificate, such as a certificate required when applying for a firearms licence or driving licence, including any examinations necessary for obtaining such a certificate. We also reimburse the costs of tests, including tests for sexually transmitted infections and COVID-19, as well as vaccination costs.
